Asia CanTech Bangkok
I have just got back from Thailand and there were no obvious signs of the trouble over the last months.
The Sheraton Royal Orchid has just about finished its major refurbishment so is looking great. I went to Propak Asia and was surprised and pleased to see how busy it was. Most of the exhibitors I met were happy with the show and felt it was a worthwhile event. Bangkok seems to be back to normal.
Unfortunately I have not been able to arrange a site visit in Bangkok as yet. Does anyone have any ideas? – all suggestions gratefully received.
My trip also took me to Ho Chi Minh city in Vietnam. After Bangkok, this was the most popular location on the questionnaire we gave out at last year’s show. Jack Knight from INX recommend that I looked at the Rex Hotel, as he stays there when he visits the city, so thanks Jack it was excellent.
We have extended the early bird booking rate to the end of this month due the issues in Bangkok so book now to take advantage of it – and our new website now takes credit card payments online.
Talking of which, we hope you like the look of the new website – a few early glitches have been ironed out and more new features will be added over the coming months. The e-newsletters have also been updated and look excellent – sign up on the website now.
