Jenson & Nicholson to expand capacity in Bangladesh

The Bangladesh Economic Zones Authority (BEZA) has announced it has signed a Land Lease Agreement (LLA) with Jenson & Nicholson Packaging Limited, a Berger Paints group company, for 6.34 acres of land at the National Special Economic Zone.

The company will invest US$13.70 million, creating around 600 new jobs while manufacturing high-quality rigid plastic pails, food-grade and industrial packaging, metal packaging and other products to strengthen Berger Paints’ backward integration.

This investment builds on Berger Paints’ growing presence in the National Special Economic Zone, where the company has already secured 40 acres for its paint manufacturing facility, with production expected to begin soon.
Together, these investments highlight growing confidence in Bangladesh’s economic zones and reinforce BEZA’s vision of building a world-class manufacturing hub, it said in a statement.
